That is why the researcher wishes to learn more about the issue and potential solutions for financing health care delivery in Nigeria. To attain this goal, the appropriate environment must be created, coordinated, and directed for effective results.
The goal of health care is to provide all people with good health and competent medical attention. The extent to which this is applied is critical to this study, and here is where finance comes into play.
On the write-up, the researcher employed two separate sorts of data collection devices. Questionnaires and library research were used.
The study’s findings were based on insufficient finances for hospital facilities, improper money allotted, insufficient payment of salaries to health employees, and underpayment of salary in relation to government permission.
The study’s findings were used to make recommendations and draw conclusions.

1.1 BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY
Nigeria is once again on the verge of a new crisis.
“2010,” with health-care reform as one of the vision’s primary pillars. Our medical workers (Doctors and Nurses) are leaving the country at an alarming rate in search of greener pastures.
More harm than good to his country.
There are frequent deaths as a result of treatment by inexperienced doctors and nurses. Our intelligence and future hopes have been distorted by one or more diseases as a result of non-expert therapy.
In his work, ODUTOLA (1997) established that “our hospitals have devolved into mere consulting clinics.”
“Our health care system has collapsed”
“Our hospital are short everything”
So, what is our hope and target for attaining Vision 2010?
This prompted the researcher to investigate the challenges and opportunities for financing health care delivery in Nigeria.
1.2 STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM
The research focuses on the issues and potential of financing health care delivery programmes in Nigeria. The level of service provided by the health system is quite low. This is especially true in terms of employee attitudes and performance.
They complained bitterly about their pay in comparison to other co-medical personnel in other nations. They were promised that they would be compensated, but when that did not happen, some of them decided to leave the nation in search of a brighter future.
Some hospitals require refurbishment and others require specific facilities, but none were completed; instead, they were closed and some became inoperable.
Preemie hospitals are filled with broken down equipment and unopened new equipment with no location for installation. The use of government health facilities is quite low.
1.3 OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY
1. Determine the impact of insufficient funding on hospital facilities.
2. To ensure that funds provided for hospital facilities are being used properly.
3. To investigate the impact of hospital pay on medical professionals.
4. Determine whether medical personnel were paid in accordance with approved government economic scales.

Nigeria’s economic growth.
2. How are hospital facility monies distributed used?
3. Does the wage of medical workers appear to be favourable to them?
4. Were the medical professionals paid as they should have been?
1.5 SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY
Every member of our society was affected by health, whether directly or indirectly, individually or collectively, consciously or unconsciously. The entire country is among those who will benefit. The government and the people.
The entire country – The attainment of good health by the people of one state in the federation, resulting in the most socially and economically productive existence conceivable.
The Government – In a country where the people are healthy, the labour force is likely to be strong and productive.
The People – Diseases and infections should not take the lives of intellectuals and competent clever individuals. People can engage in one or both activities, so contributing to the country’s well-being.
1.6 DEFINITION OF TERM
FINANCIAL PROBLEM – Difficulties in raising funds.
PROSPECTIVE FINANCING – Planned method of raising funds.
HEALTH CARE – A concerted effort at the national, state, or community levels to provide services in order to meet a set of pre-determined health-related objectives.
MEDICAL PERSONNELS – Those in charge of one’s health, such as doctors, nurses, lab technicians, chemists, and so on.
TO MEDICAL PERSONNELS – Medical personnel’s counterparts in other sectors.
HEALTH INSTITUTIONS – Any hospital, clinic, or nursing home, or associated Institutions, convalescent home, or specialised services maintained by the government,
used for the reception and treatment of persons suffering from any sickness, injury, or bodily or mentally infirmity birth or immediately after child birth for the purpose of providing nursing or surgical attention.
TERTIARY HEALTH CARE – They deal with cases that secondary health care cannot. There are three types of hospitals: teaching hospitals, specialist hospitals, and special hospitals.
SECONDARY HEALTH CARE- Cases or illnesses that cannot be handled by the clinics will be referred to secondary care. There are three types of hospitals: state-run general hospitals, privately operated hospitals, and voluntary agency hospitals.
PRIMARY HEALTH CARE- These are clinics or health centres where patients receive their initial treatment. They are accountable for referring cases that they are unable to handle.
