Manual examination recording has been a concern for many institutions of higher learning, including Kogi State Polytechnics in Lokoja, which used the Computer Science Department as a research sample.
The manual system’s efforts to overcome this problem have been sabotaged by error and abuse of various kinds. This, along with many other difficulties
has prompted a curious interest in computerising student examination result systems at all levels of education, because it reduces cost and time, increases accessibility of information on students’ examinations, and ensures proper recording.
