Abstract
This project is centred around an online voting mechanism. The existing registration and voting processes are conducted manually, which has resulted in various issues. A design was created to computerise the manual method in order to investigate this issue.
The issues were found during a series of interviews and document examinations, followed by analysis and the recommendation of a computerised procedure.
This project will also recommend how to successfully implement the computerised procedure and overcome any obstacles that may arise during the system’s implementation.
The new system was created utilising the PHP and MySQL programming languages. This language was chosen for its versatility and useful capabilities in constructing internet applications.
