 AN ANALYSIS OF THE PROCUREMENT REFORMS ACT AS A TOOL FOR COST SAVINGS AND ACCOUNTABILITY IN KRPC

ABSTRACT

This research has thoroughly examined procurement reforms as a vehicle for cost savings and accountability MKRPIC. Where the data was obtained and used to compile this research. An introduction was written, which included the presentation of the overall problem, the background of the subject matter, the study’s objectives, and its relevance. Existing literature on procurement reform acts, need assessment, some purchasing objectives, purchasing practices and procedures, and some management functions were also considered and reviewed. This study was based on the random sampling method. A sample size of 39 out of a total population of 130 was chosen. The research findings suggest that procurement reforms in KRPC are always impacted or ineffectual. The research advises that due process be followed in order to improve cost savings and accountability in KRPC. Also, the entire KRPC crew has given their full dedication.
