ASSESSMENT OF GOVERNMENT PARTICIPATION IN ADULT LITERACY PROGRAMS
This project looked into the government’s involvement in adult literacy programs in the Ikpoba-Okha Local Government Area. The introduction to this project discusses the study’s background, problem statement, purpose of the study, research questions, significance of the study, delimitation, limitations, and definition of terms.
In order to provide perspectives on what other scholars have written in this report, the researcher, reviewed some related literature and project work related to adult education, the concept of adult literacy, the literacy rate in Nigeria, the organization of adult literacy education in Ikpoba-Okha Local Government Area, and the problems and constraints of adult literacy in Nigeria. To gather data for the study, forty (40) questionnaires were distributed. All questionnaires were collected and analyzed using percentages.
