ABSTRACT
This study aims to demonstrate how cooperative organisations can help alleviate poverty in Arochukwu North Local Government Area, Abia State.

The sample is made up of 25 farmer cooperative society members, 25 marketing cooperative society members, 25 credit and thrift cooperative society members, and 25 consumer cooperative society members.

The major data collection tool was a questionnaire. The sample was obtained using random sampling techniques, and the data was analysed using a statistical method based on sample percentage.
