CRITICAL ASSESSMENT OF THE IMPACT OF JOB LOSSES ON STANDARD OF LIVING IN NIGERIA

ABSTRACT

The study looked at how job losses affected the level of living in Nigeria. The study’s primary goal was to use a descriptive research approach to investigate the impact of job losses on Nigerians’ standard of life. The data collection methods included surveys, oral interviews, and phone calls. The information gathered was presented, analysed, and interpreted using tables, charts, and basic percentages. Job losses and unemployment have been identified as one of the leading causes of social vices in our culture today, such book haram insurgency, abduction, rapping, cultism, and armed robbery. It was suggested that in order to alleviate the suffering caused by job losses, individuals should seek other employment as soon as possible. Retaining focused at self-employment could be an option. It was also suggested that individuals in current work save for a rainy day. It is also encouraged that working-class people be inventive and hard-working in their workplaces in order to avoid losing their jobs, as the consequences of job loss are terrible.
