Abstract
A web-based recruitment portal is a programme that monitors any organization’s recruitment process online. It includes capabilities that enable users to apply for jobs online.
When an application is submitted through the online portal, depending on the requirements of the job description, the portal screens the candidate to decide whether or not the applicant is qualified.
If the applicant is not qualified, the portal rejects the application and provides feedback to the user; otherwise, the applicant’s information is transmitted to the portal’s database, from which the administrator can notify the applicant of an interview date.
The web-based recruiting portal is or should be advised for every organization’s personnel department because it relieves the stress of personnel managers while also assisting them in selecting the most eligible candidates for the post.
This online portal will be built on the Dreamweaver platform, with scripting written using PHP server technology. The database will be managed using MySQL.
