The reason we chose online Bookstore web service is that everyone on the street knows something about bookshops. The goal of this project is to create an e-book store where people may buy books from the comfort of their own homes via the Internet.

An online bookstore is a virtual store on the Internet where clients can browse the catalogue and choose books of interest. The selected books can be placed in a shopping cart. At checkout, the goods in the shopping cart will be shown as an order.

At that point, more information will be required to complete the transaction. Typically, the customer is prompted to provide or pick a billing address, a mailing address, a shipping method, and payment information such as a credit card number. The customer receives an e-mail notification as soon as the order is placed.

1.1 STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM

The method of purchasing books from a small-scale business needs clients to travel with cash, which can be risky to their lives.

Furthermore, for a graduating student to carry out his/her clearance from all these departments, it usually takes a lot of time, a lot of processes, and a delay in clearing the students Unavailability of some key staffs while processing clearance forms, which compels students to continuously visit a particular office in order to sign his/her clearance form

1.3 SCOPE OF THE PROJECT

As part of the preliminary study, the scope of the system must be clearly defined. This is handy for assessing the amount of effort and money involved.

In any Bata business, the Purchase and Billing departments are critical to presenting a positive image in the marketplace. We cannot consider the existence of a single department alone.

The Purchase section oversees the entire process of purchasing shoes from the party. The billing department is in charge of all procedures associated with the sale of shoes to customers.

During the purchase or billing procedure, the Bata shop will interact with the party or customer as an external entity, as well as with other departments within the Bata store.

The system’s limits are the boundaries of the Bata store, which encompass the many departments, including the buying and sale department, which interact with external entities such as parties and clients.
