DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF SCHOOLS SOCIAL NETWORK

Chapter one

1.1INTRODUCTION

The majority of our university’s social life is dwindling due to some circumstance. These constraints in social life have caused some pupils to be unsure of how to interact with the rest of society. Socialism is problematic at UNN University.

Building a social network website for the University will enable the University to address the issue of anti-socialism. A social network is a social structure composed of individuals (or organisations) known as “nodes,” who are linked (connected) by one or more specific types of interdependency, such as friendship, kinship, common interest, financial exchange, dislike, or relationships of beliefs, knowledge, or prestige.

1.2 Background of the Study

UNN University is comprised of four (4) faculties, including:

1. Engineering comprises the following departments: computer, mechanical, chemical, electrical, and electronic engineering.

2. Environmental divisions include Architecture, Urban and Regional Planning, and Estate Management.

3. Management and Social Sciences departments include accounting, economics, business administration, public administration, political science, industrial relations and personnel management, mass communication, marketing, banking, and finance.

4. Natural Sciences departments include biochemistry, computer science and information technology, industrial chemistry, mathematics and statistics, and microbiology and biotechnology.

The demand for automated data storage in universities such as UNN has long existed. To address this issue, a large number of software applications have been developed and sold around the world.

I examined this software and discovered that many of them are inefficient. Students have also investigated and produced their own software, although they were unable to provide or construct error-free software that will assist in result generation, automated course registration, or the creation of a database of results in the University to facilitate students’ transcripts.

This issue has been delaying or delaying the outcomes of graduating or graduated students, causing some of them to miss out on youth service when they should or should have gone, and even some to miss it entirely.

To bridge this gap or solve this problem, there is a need to produce accurate, error-free software, as the problem has put a lot of pressure on both tests and records, as well as university management.

1.3 GOALS OF THE STUDY

The study’s main aims are UNN Social Network, while the secondary objectives are:

i. To effectively and efficiently communicate with staff and students online.

ii. To reduce stress on seminars by adopting online seminars.

iii. To improve the university document management.

iv. To reduce the backlog for seeing lecturers and heads of departments.

v. To reduce anti-socialism.

vi. To Create educational groups online to boost learning.

vii. To form reading partners online.

viii. To Make New Friends Online

ix. To boast the image of the school.
