ABSTRACT
Forgery has long infiltrated our educational system, and counterfeit and forged certificates and documents have an advantage in many certificate and degree issuing institutions. Invalid studentship has surpassed valid studentship.

The necessity for a student verification system has arisen to check and purge invalid studentships, papers, and certificates, hence ensuring the authenticity of certificates and documentation.

This research project designed and implemented a student verification system for Delta State University (DELSU E-VERIFY). The suggested model is concerned with monitoring student enrollment

maintaining students’ fundamental academic records, tracking students if there is any type of misconduct, and future verification of all Delta State University certificates.
