ABSTRACT
This study sought to objectively assess the impact of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) on Nigerian economic growth between 1970 and 2010. The study asserts that there are disagreements over the impact of FDI on the economic growth of developing countries.
However, the results revealed that FDI has some beneficial spillovers on the Nigerian economy, highlighting the need to implement policies that will aid to increase FDI inflows.
