EFFECT OF NETWORK JAVA ON COMMUNICATION SYSTEM IN NIGERIA
Chapter One:
Introduction
1.1 Background of the Study
The analysis is based on the overall network architecture of large public and commercial institutions. In the early days of networking as we know it, there was little demand for the use of computer languages to govern network architecture.
In this study, we will investigate the Java programming language and the appropriate algorithm for creating a more efficient communications system.
The focus would be on the Nigerian system with the Nigerian Communications Commission and the impact of its implementation.
Java networking is the concept of joining two or more computing units together to exchange resources.
The OSI model’s application layer is where Java programmes communicate over the network. The java.net package found in the Java JDK library is used for all Java networking classes and interfaces.
1.2 Statement of Problem
There is a need for an efficient and effective system that is user-friendly and cross-platform in order to effectively improve the system’s nature and performance. There will also be an emphasis on the network system’s security.
In this system, we will create a chat system utilising Java network socket programming.
1.3 Motivation for the Study
This study was prompted by the fact that the world is increasingly moving towards technological applications that must be secure because the majority of these applications collect information that has the potential for vulnerability. It is also to put a stop to, or at least decrease to the barest minimum cases of cybercrime.
1.4 Aims and Objectives of the Study
1.4.1 Aims of the Study
The study intends to design a Java networking-based communication system, test it, and obtain feedback.
1.4.2 PURPOSE OF THE STUDY
The study aims to investigate the background of computer networks.
2. Investigating past work in this subject of research.
3. Identifying and implementing the best algorithm for effective and efficient communication across the server.
1.5 RESEARCH QUESTIONS.
The study seeks to address the following research questions:
1. Is the system able to connect and remain connected to the current network?
2. Is the system effective for text messaging?
3. Are system resources readily available and accessible?
4. Are the users able to utilise the system easily?
1.6 Scope and Limitations of the Study
The study’s focus is limited to the Communications Department of the Nigerian Communications Commission. The platform’s key users will provide feedback on the success of the deployment.
The issue is that there may not be a broad scope of investigation to more accurately evaluate user response.
1.7 Significance of the Study
The work is significant in that it will give a platform for the prevention and potential provision of forensic solutions to cybercrime concerns.
1.8 Organisation of the Chapters
The project is organised so that Chapter One provides a quick introduction in the form of a Background of the Study of Computer Network Systems. In Chapter Two, we take a thorough look at the related implementations of computer network systems.
The third chapter looks at the system architecture, design, and analysis. Chapter Four describes the project’s implementation utilising the relevant programming languages and development models.
It also displays the results of the tests that were conducted. Chapter Five concludes the project work with a summary, findings, and recommendations for future projects.
