ABSTRACT

This study was conducts out to find the effect of lack of proper secretarial training facilities on the production of secretaries and it was published in five chapters. Chapter one provided background information by reviewing current historical data regarding the consequences of insufficient secretarial training facilities on the output of secretaries. In addition, the presentation of the problem adequately addresses the consequences of this deficiency. The following subheadings also contribute to the overall discussion: study limitations, research questions, hypothesis statements, and terminology definitions. In chapter two, we documented our findings and conducted a thorough literature search and expository writing. The third chapter detailed the study’s methodology, including its design, data collection methods, questionnaire distribution, response rates, and overall project organisation. The research went above and above by presenting, analysing, and interpreting survey data. Chapter five concluded the study by summarising the findings, drawing conclusions, testing the hypothesis, offering recommendations, and suggesting areas for future research.

CHAPTER ONE

INTRODUCTION

1.1 The Background of the Study

There has been recent animosity on the part of certain groups due to the disappointment they felt when interviewing candidates who were supposed to have had secretarial training.

It is also something that students sent for their industrial training program are starting to encounter more frequently, if not already fully experiencing.

However, we are aware that our universities’ inadequate secretarial training facilities are the root cause of this problem. It is a well-known fact that the majority of our educational institutions fall short of expectations when it comes to the variety and availability of modern technology.

This endeavour will fail since, without a doubt, the output of secretaries has been hampered by this deficiency.
