Abstract
This study examines the principles behind the administration and scheduling of healthcare activities, functional procedures, and equipment in the supply and use of medications in the context of broader human endeavours involving health and privacy concerns.
However, it should be noted that there are no well-defined methods for managing these processes when treatment is to be administered to patients, or even inventory management of prescriptions and acquisitions of drugs or medicines
as the case may be, leaving room for the possibility of administering the incorrect treatment to any patient at any given time, as well as substandard prescriptions of treatments for illnesses that may or may not occur.
This research work has carefully outlined the shortcomings of the old system and has made updates and corrections, as well as additional functionalities added and integrated, in order to formulate the design and implementation of a new system to manage these health care operations and activities, using FMC Owerri as an example.
