IMPLICATION OF NATIONAL BROADCASTING COMMISSION RULES AND REGULATIONS ON BROADCAST MEDIA

ABSTRACT

This project is primarily concerned with the Implications of National Broadcasting Commission Rules and Regulations on Broadcast Media: A Case Study of Africa Independent Television (AIT), Lagos.

This research paper provides a vivid description and analysis of the implications of NBC broadcast media, namely AIT, Lagos. According to existing literature, no media station can operate without following certain laws and regulations.

The history and resolution of information technology have prompted many media organisations to reassess how operations are carried out while retaining the regulations that bind the media station.

According to the data acquired, the majority of respondents felt that the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) has contributed to raise and maintain the standards of media organisations in the country through the laws and regulations it has established.

In this regard, every media outlet should follow rules that govern its operation and dissemination. However, it is recommended that the National Broadcasting Commission maintain high professional standards and firmly adhere to journalism ethics.
