ABSTRACT
This research focuses on increasing organisational performance through effective staff discipline and control (a case study of Ogun transport business OTC) in Abeokuta.
It provided an overview of the concepts of discipline and control, as well as the many types and forms of disciplinary procedures. It also examined several approaches to improve the disciplinary and control processes.
Finally, the study advised that there be strong staff discipline and control in order to increase workers’ organisational performance, as well as enough support for effective communication.
