ABSTRACT
Television advertisements have played a significant role in marketing goods and services. This study examines how television advertisements affect the purchase of ‘Always’ sanitary pads among students in Ado Ekiti, Ekiti state.

It used questionnaires and interviews to collect relevant data. The first chapter describes the project’s context and frame of reference, including objectives, importance, issue statement, study scope, and important terms.

In chapter two, the researcher explores the history and evolution of television in Nigeria. This article describes advertising and discusses its evolution and expansion in Nigeria. This study examines the impact of television advertisements on the ‘Always’ sanitary pad as a commodity, applying media dependence and social responsibility theories.

Chapter 3 covers data collection and study population. Chapter 4 analyses quantitative data using a basic percentage technique and qualitative data using a descriptive method.

It also describes the ‘Always’ sanitary pad advertisement. In Chapter 5, the researcher summarised and gave recommendations to improve the quality of the ‘Always’ sanitary pad TV advertisement. The report recommends increasing the availability and affordability of commodities for customers.
