Abstract
In the Amassoma community of Bayelsa state, the purpose of this study was to investigate mothers’ awareness and acceptability of oral rehydration therapy in the treatment of diarrhoea in children aged 0 to 5.
The goals of this study served as a guidance. Questionnaires and library research were used to gather data for the study, which used a descriptive and explanatory design.
Both primary and secondary data sources were employed, and the data was analysed at the 5% level of significance using the chi square statistical technique. The results were displayed as percentages and frequency tables.
