ONLINE LECTURERS RATING SYSTEM (CASE STUDY OF CRAWFORD UNIVERSITY)
ABSTRACT
This project work intends to automate the existing student rating on lecturers effectiveness in Crawford University. The essence is to produce durable evaluation records and increase effectiveness.
Structural database management system (DBMS) was used in its development in order to eliminate redundancy in the compilation, its friendliness in responding to the user exhibits and also its reliability and efficiency in evaluation.
Another important feature of this system was that it provides users with the facilities for having the hard copies or printouts of any relevant document as well as the facilities to communication with the system. Student rating is the process by which students evaluate lecturers performance.
The existing and age old system of intelligence and student rating maintenance has failed to live up to the requirements of the existing scenario. Manual processes neither provides accurate, reliable and comprehensive data round the clock nor does it help in trend prediction and decision support.
