The system will implement a new, acceptable, and efficient registration process. Because it will make it possible to solve comparable problems, this research is important to other computer science programs and students.
The main reason this project research is important is because it offers a faster, more dependable, and more effective way to operate online. The examination council will benefit from it in similar research.

1.1: Introduction
The WAEC online registration system has to be computerised because of the necessity to improve online in a world where technology has replaced outdated methods of doing things, including the online registration system. Students were registering for WAEC manually in the early 1930s, which made the process extremely challenging and time-consuming.
Later, they started automating the system’s operations by employing punched card machines. The Hollerith machines that were in place at the time managed every facet of the exams, from entrance receipt to certificate printing. As the number of candidates increased in the 1980s, optical mark readers replaced the card tossing procedure in 1983.
Member countries, especially Nigeria, started incorporating continuous assessment results into school candidate grades. These advancements were contrasted with various data-related issues.
The quality of the entry data, the time it took to process the entries, the security and storage of the entry papers, the evaluation data, and the actual transmission of the data from the satellite stations to the main computer installation were all issues.
Despite these, the results were released quickly. Formally, the result issue was quite difficult, but in cybercafé, it was made simple by allowing the cyber cage to get on to the internet and verify the results.
With the use of a computer system, applicants may easily register, although in the past, it was challenging to do so through the online e-registration system.

Numerous factors hindered the completion of this investigation, including the following:
Time Restraint: Because of the school academic schedule, the researcher had a very small amount of time to complete this project. Additionally, the project was completed under pressure, which prevented the researcher from implementing some essential elements.
Establishment Policies: Because most staff members are not prepared to give information required for this project task, establishment policies presented a significant limitation.
The scope was limited because the institution’s staff needed to provide a lot of material to improve the study, which they either took a long time to disclose or didn’t release at all for security reasons.
Research material: One significant obstacle to the study’s scope is the availability of research material.
Frequent power outages: In order to provide sustainable power, the researcher had to spend more money on fuel.

Because it will make it possible to solve comparable problems, this research is important to other computer science programs and students. The main reason this project research is important is because it offers a faster, more dependable, and more effective way to operate online.
The examination council will benefit from it in comparable research. If examination councils choose to modify this approach for their own use, it will be very helpful in their decision-making.
