ROLE OF CO-OPERATIVE IN ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF NIGERIA
ABSTRACT
This research project is a critical study designed to determine whether the role of cooperatives in economic development has contributed both educationally and economically to the development of Akwa Ibom State, as well as whether they have made any achievements through their qualified and competent personnel.
To address the research challenge, both primary and secondary data were gathered. Questionnaires and oral interviews were employed in the data collection phase of the research. Questionnaires were delivered to Akwa Ibom State’s Bureau of Cooperative Development staff.
Following the conclusion of the inquiry, it was discovered that the cooperative was doing reasonably well.
