Chapter One: Introduction and Background to the Study.
A tracking system is highly significant in today’s society; it can be used for navigation, monitoring, and tracking of people with COVID-19.

However, with the rapid advancement of technology, automated tracking systems are now being employed in a number of ways to track and display the whereabouts of humans and non-objects in real time.

A coronavirus tracking system based on GPS/GSM/GPRS technology and a Smartphone application provides a more efficient and cost-effective option in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic in Nigeria and around the world.

The current work focuses on the design and development of a coronavirus tracking and monitoring system for afflicted individuals. The system primarily measures movement parameters such as position and speed.

The ability to reliably detect the location and status of a covid-19 patient is the primary purpose of automotive trajectory monitoring systems, which is why this project exists.
