THE EFFECT OF CONTRACEPTIVE PATRONAGE AND RISK INVOLVEMENT AMONG FEMALE SECONDARY SCHOOL STUDENT
ABSTRACT
The study looked at the relationship between contraceptive use and risk involvement among female students in Akoko township, Ondo state. One hundred and fifty female pupils were chosen at random from six (6) secondary schools in Akoko area.
The investigator devised a systematic questionnaire to collect data for the investigation. The data was analyzed using a simple percentage and frequency count. The simple percentage results showed that the majority of the female secondary were aware of contraception and the risks involved.
As a result, various recommendations are made, including the inclusion of reproductive health information and services in secondary school curricula.
