The primary purpose of this body of work, which took the form of research, was to analyze the impact that stress has on the academic performance of students by using the Faculty of Education at the University of Uyo as a case study.
The research was carried out with the help of two students.
A questionnaire with sixteen items was distributed to undergraduate students in the Faculty of Education at the University of Uyo. Each student was provided with a copy of the questionnaire to fill out and send back.
After the data that was obtained was analyzed using percentages, the findings were then looked at again. According to the results of the study, students at the University of Uyo do, in fact, suffer from the unfavorable effects of stress on their overall academic performance.
After presenting the findings, the researcher gives some recommendations for additional research that, if carried out precisely as described and implemented, will result in an overall improvement in the sector that was the focus of this investigation.
