ABSTRACT
Co-operative societies were founded to assist underprivileged rural residents who lack the necessary cash to start their own businesses. How have cooperative societies contributed to rural development?
The goal of this research was to determine whether cooperative societies have an impact on the development of rural areas, as well as the changes that have occurred and the recommendations. This research study is divided into five chapters.
The first chapter contains a general overview of the genesis of the word cooperative as a result of the challenges produced by capitalists.
It went on to outline the problems to be examined and why this study was conducted, the research questions and what the advantages would be later, the study’s scope and restrictions, and finally, the definition of words.
Chapter two highlights a member of the previous literature explored by other research as it relates to cooperative societies and rural development.
The third chapter discusses the study’s methodology, population, research materials production, research procedures, and data treatment.
The results obtained from the research surveys were examined and interpreted in Chapter 4. Also, similar questions from both questionnaires were compared.
Finally, chapter five contains a summary of the research findings as well as the researcher’s conclusions.
If cooperative societies and rural people implement the study’s recommendations, their standard of life will not only be expanded and improved, but the area will also see continuous growth and development.
