ABSTRACT
The study investigated the use of virtual classroom instruction on students’ academic performance of education economics students in the University Calabar. Three hypotheses were formulated to guide this study. The survey research design was employed for the study. A sample of 200 respondents was purposively selected for the study using the simple random sampling technique. A performance test and questionnaire was used for data collection. To test the research questions and hypotheses formulated for the study, Pearson Correlation and paired t-test statistical tools were used for data analysis. The result of the analysis indicated the effective utilization and availability of virtual classroom instruction which influence students’ academic performance in education economics. it was therefore recommended that the use of virtual classroom instruction should be employed in any instructional delivery for it to be a successful one.
